Love, Peace and Harmony
This series celebrates the beauty of human connection, tenderness and the quiet moments of everyday life. Through expressive figures, animals, flowers, interiors and richly patterned surroundings, the paintings explore love not as something grand or distant, but as something found in companionship, intimacy, rest and simple acts of care. The beings in the collection are connected only through harmony and the joy of life, Ive tried to define them with gestural line and in bright colours that hopefully have musicality, that was my intention when I set out to paint this collection.
Love, Peace and Harmony is ultimately an invitation to slow down and notice what connects us: affection, beauty, nature, imagination and the comfort of being together. These paintings embrace imperfection and spontaneity, suggesting that harmony does not require uniformity—it can emerge from the vibrant meeting of many different colours, forms and spirits.
I would like to thank Luke Hannan, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, John Lennon, John krakauer, the band Pigeon and singer song writer Kevin Morby. All of whom had a big influence on this collection.
